Alumni Association

The Black Engineer of the Year Alumni Association, The Emerald Honors Association,  and the National Women of Color Alumnae Association, put together by industry-wide organizing committees, will provide important services:

1. Continuing recognition for Award Winners, the "Best and Brightest" of minority and female technical professionals, whose growth and accomplishments do not stop after they win Awards.

2. Critically important networking opportunities for these women and men, whose heavy responsibilities normally preclude chances to meet minority or female professionals from different industries.

3. A forum for policy discussions, development of programs, and organization of support for initiatives to promote increased access to technology careers for youth.

The professionals who win these Awards are innovators and managers working at the cutting edge of industrial product development. They are  the cutting edge, sending to market products that dramatically change the way the world lives and works.
